Expert Picture Framing Services in Southend on Sea
With over 40 years of experience in picture framing, we can offer you expert advice and quality craftmanship when framing your art. We have been framing pictures at this site since 1979. From photos, prints and needle work to medals and even a replica Olympic torch, we can frame almost anything. Every item of framing is unique so to get the right look for your artwork you need to come in and try some of our mouldings and mounts around your artwork. We are happy to advise you and quotes are always given before commencement of work.
All framing work is completed on the premises and we are established members of the Fine Art Trade Guild. Have a look at our Facebook Photo Album for pictures and ideas of specialist framing services. We have been operating out of these premises since 1979, although we have extended up, down and out to accommodate our workshops. Our large premises mean we have workshop space to keep all framing materials in stock allowing us to offer a fast and professional framing service. We keep extensive ranges of moulding and mount board in stock or if you can't find what you're looking for in stock then we have access to a wider range from our suppliers catalogues.
We keep acid free papers and boards and a range of Tru-Vue Museum Quality conservation glass in stock. We recommend conservation framing to preserve your artwork.
Conservation Clear® picture framing glass offers the highest level of UV protection available in the industry. Over time exposure to indoor and outdoor UV light rays can contribute to fading and deterioration of art, photographs and other important personal keepsakes. Conservation Clear glass effectively blocks up to 99% of UV light rays to protect against fading and help keep framed pieces brighter, longer.
Conservation Reflection Control® glass enhances the beauty of artwork with a matte-like finish that scatters light to minimize unwanted glare. Additionally, it effectively blocks up to 99% of UV light rays to help protect art, photographs and other important personal keepsakes from fading and deterioration caused by harmful UV light rays.
